Trade Show Display Challenge:

PIC Energy Services, one of Moose Displays & Logistics oldest clients, has taken full advantage of the versatility of the Milos Quick Truss system.

PIC Energy’s initial investment in 2004 was to create a unique exhibition truss atmosphere at PowerGen International 2004 in Orlando, Florida.  Designing the center tower with multi level wings, bright graphics and a hanging sign gave their 20 x 50 trade show display area depth and appeal.  With a few modifications, the same general trade show exhibit was used at PowerGen International 2005 in Las Vegas, NV.

2006 brought changes to the PIC trade show exhibit floor plan.  PIC Energy decided to change their trade show display area from a 20 x 50 to a 30 x 30 which required complete reconfiguration of the truss components.  Additionally, newly sized large format fabric graphics were created for this event.  However, taking these changes into consideration, including a complete re-design of the display, the entire reconfiguration costs were significantly less than building a new custom trade show display.  This configuration will be used at PowerGen International ’07 in New Orleans, LA on Dec 13, 2007.

While PIC Energy considers PowerGen International their primary annual event, there are other events they attend using smaller displays such as pop-up displays and their eight-foot Duffle Display.  One such event is Electric Power.  In May 2007 Electric Power was held at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center (Rosemont) in Chicago, IL.  According to Laurie Zeaser, Marketing Manager for PIC Energy, Electric Power, while not having a large attendance, does have key potential as an event.  In discussing this show with Laurie, the object was to maintain their presence and branding designed for PowerGen International without the cost of setting the 30 x 30 for the event.  The return on investment was not justified.  PIC Energy determined a 10 x 20 in-line display was the proper size trade show display exhibit space for this event.

Moose Displays & Logistics, using a combination of PIC Energy existing properties, and necessary exhibition truss from our trade show display rental stock, reconfigured their larger trade show exhibit properties to create an eye catching 10 x 20 trade show exhibit complete with truss and graphics from PowerGen International to continue their branding as well as new graphics, a plasma screen and two sitting areas. 

The result was a successful, cost effective event that extended their branding and maintained their presence in the industry.
