A: Cypress Media Group recommends using only experienced and dedicated trade show carriers. They are familiar with the proper care and handling of your properties at pickup, during transit, and at delivery. In addition, although you will pay more, you can be assured that your components will be properly insured.
Q: What is the "drayage" charge referenced in the show books?
A: The General Contractor (GC) of a show is responsible for moving the trade show freight from the loading dock, to the show floor, and then back to the loading dock after the show. They also store your crates, boxes, pallets, skids and other containers during the show. The drayage charge is beyond the control of all except for the GC. The drayage charge is another compelling reason for your trade show display to be as light as possible.
