Seminar tips:
- When requesting information in writing, be sure to be specific. If your request is precise, it is easy to find the information and respond. Vague requests are too general and tend to be ignored.
- Doublets are multiword phrases with overlapping meanings. Avoid doublets such as "key essentials," "my personal opinion," and "future outlook."
- Edit jargon and buzz words ruthlessly to keep your writing fresh. Most business "slang" becomes dated and seems insincere. Avoid terms like "viable option" and "thinking outside of the box."
